Laney GH-100L
Does anyone have any experience with this head (or the 50W model), is it good/bad, opinions?

i ve played the gh100ti (the tony iommi version) and its really shit hot. Very fucking loud, i swear its more than 100 watts lol. Its a one channel amp basicly made for metal. It has a real thick distortion , very different sound to a marshall or wat not. I think the 100l's basicly the same but with the option to turn off a gain stage. Try it out if u havent

I had one here for repairs. Kind of a hot rodded Marshall tone. A little on the bright side.

These amps are VERY hot. Especially the Iommi one. If I remember right, it has three or four gain stages.

nah i aint played through any of the laney cabs, i tryed it with a marshall 1960B cab. I think the iommi version gh100ti has its own custom cabs for it. There probly good seemin that iommi uses them.
The iommi version has 5 permanent gain stages whilst the gh100l has the option of 4 or 5
