Problem
I have a problem with my Ibanez TB50R amp.
After about 40 minutes of playing on overdrive the sound gets so low that is even hard to hear it, like it is maybe 1/12 vol.
Before that is normal and great!
Can anybody help me?

i dont know what causing it. But, try to take it back to whereever you got it, and get a refund or something.

This is by far one of the easiest problems to troubleshoot. Buy a can of freeze spray and spray the electrolytic capacitors one at a time until you find the one that fixes the problem. Then replace it, but make sure you keep the polarity the same (i.e. the little + and or - symbol on the capacitor in the same direction, otherwise it will probably blow up).
It is possible that another type of component is causing this problem, so if you don't find a capacitor that fixes it, just keep spraying all the components until you find the one that is the problem.

doesnt that fuck up the warranty, why not just claim a new one...? |

Who said he had a warranty? If he did I seriously doubt he would bother to ask how to fix it himself. |
