Demonic Shadows
Hi, Here is another song I wrote callded "Demonic Shadows" when I was having another bad day. It is about a couple of things. It is about people who judge somebody else and think they understand that person and try to preach their way to them, when in truth they have no clue about that person at all. Also about people who used others and still make them feel guilty and you become so adapt to the hate that it is your only way to survive. You feel no love except anger because all that hate combined something inside of you.
Our shadows that are cursed
Infringing our rights
Of Freedom…
Unholy spirits from grim graves
Condemned to suffer
Eternal torment
(Eternal punishment!)
I’ve suffered guilt for thou
Treating I as a scapegoat
Anger gleaning amid my soul
Brimming to unleash the fiends
We are the children of the wrathful hate
Surviving by spurning pity and resentment
In a muddy slough twere goodness hath rejected us
We are the furies with the hardened hearts of despair
Whom the fuck dost thou deem thou are?
Preaching over us thy practices
Acting as our bellwether
We shalt not sublime to thy
We are the staunch inflamed mob
A lagoon from the salty lake
Daunt us no more
We are fathomless
Gird thy selves we approach hastily
We shalt girdle them all
We hath conjured these ogres?
Thou hath sowed the seeds
Into our fertile wombs
Impregnated they evolve
Our stomach’s bellied out
Rented they are unleashed
We are the children of the wrathful hate
Surviving by spurning pity and resentment
In a muddy slough twere goodness hath rejected us
We aron the furies with the hardened hearts of despair
Whom the fuck dost thou deem thou are?
Preaching over us thy practices
Acting as our bellwether
We shalt not sublime to thy
We are the staunch inflamed mob
A lagoon from the salty lake
Daunt us no more
We are fathomless
Gird thy selves we approach hastily
We shalt girdle them all

In my opinion, very good, allthough to me at least, the whole medieval elements (such as thou and shalt and the like) were played up a little too much. Definitely better than most things i write but a little to "forced medival". And one other question, what does the title "demonic shadows" mean? since there were no mention of demons in the piece, i assume you are either 1. going for a more intrinsic demon, the demons in everyone and especially the shadows of demons in the people you spoke of or 2. it just seemed like a cool title

O-kay... I read this this morning and didn't get a thing from it so I did what I usually do and came back to it.
Some of it sounds kind of forced and some just doesn't sound like the thought is complete. It's a bit too brain-straining for my liking, but I might listen to it if it had some good music to it. Just not my thing lyrically.

Grimm:I could read your mind but its in font size .5
Amadeus:Oh, and was there a cesserole (never mind spelling) involved?
Paddy:the fact that you didn't end up on a kids show makes me question my atheism
Dyldo: You evil strumpet!

It is number two. The demons that form in the people from all the hate they got that they become numb to any kind of love and it sounded to me like a cool title as well There were mentions of demons in the piece.
"We hath conjured these ogres?
Thou hath sowed the seeds" and "Anger gleaning amid my soul
Brimming to unleash the fiends" Some people who think they are normal think something is wrong with those people but there is nothing wrong with them except no love. If anyone wonders why the hell did I put "A lagoon from the salty sea" was because a lagoon is a salty lake separated from the sea from rocks. So it symbolizes that these people are still people but have a different way of thinking from the norm.
I made the music for Dusky Forest and I'm in the process of recording it and I will record this song next since I fixed my sound problem.
